Frequently Asked Questions

Here are frequently asked questions and answers about our Donate-A-Box program. Thank you for your support.

How can I learn more about this program and the food banks involved?

Please visit our About page to learn more about our Donate-A-Box: Help Heal Hunger Program, our regional food bank partners and the various ways you can donate fresh, organic produce to those in need.

Can you bring my donation to another food bank or organization not on your partner list?

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate special requests for donation recipients. As fresh produce is a perishable commodity, we have worked with each of our food bank partners to develop a system that allows each one to distribute our fresh donations quickly to those in need.

Can I pick the specific fruits and vegetables to go in my donation?

No. I'm sorry; you cannot make changes to the items in our donation boxes. This helps ensure that a variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables are sent to the food bank. Donations are available in 4 size options as found on our Donate Now page.

Can I change or cancel a scheduled donation?

You cannot makes changes after 10 a.m., 2 days prior to the scheduled donation delivery day as we will have already began preparing for the harvest and delivery of your donation.

As non-member Guest Donations are processed immediately, they cannot be cancelled once confirmed through online checkout. Please contact us at 1.800.796.6009 with any questions.

Current Farm Fresh To You members can view and cancel active donations on our Manage Donations page. If you wish to change the particular details of a donation (such as the size, food bank recipient or delivery quantity/frequency), we ask that you cancel the donation you wish to change and then create a new donation (a quick 3-step process online) with your new criteria.

How can I view and print a tax receipt of my donations?

A Donation Confirmation (with the Food Bank’s Tax ID number) will be emailed to the payment/billing email address. Please print this email for your records. Farm Fresh To You members can also find a printable log of delivered donations on the Donation History page.

If I change my Farm Fresh To You payment information, such as the credit card I have on file, will my donation payment information also change? (Farm Fresh To You Members Only)

As a Farm Fresh To You member, any changes made to your account Billing Information (such as a new credit card number) will be automatically reflected in your Donation Payment Information.

When will I be billed for my donation?

Non-member Guest Donations are charged and scheduled for delivery at the time of donation checkout.

As a Farm Fresh To You member, your scheduled donation will be charged to your payment method on your regular Farm Fresh To You billing cycle, regardless if you have selected a One-Time or Recurring Donation option. You can find a log of your donation charges on your Donation History page.

Do I have to be a Farm Fresh To You member to make a donation?

No, you don’t have to be a current member. We are excited to extend our Donate-A-Box program so that anyone can make a donation. Anyone can make a One-Time Donation of a single or multiple box/s of organic fruits and vegetables to those in need through our local partner food banks. Current Farm Fresh To You members have an additional option to easily set up a Recurring Donation and have access to other donation features such as a Donations Manager.

How can I see the progress of your Donate-A-Box program?

Throughout the year, we’ll be posting news, photos and statistics from our Donate-A-Box program on your Farm Stand home page, in our newsletter, on social media (follow us on Facebook) and via email. It is such an honor to see our healthy, organic produce improve the lives of those that need it most, and we love that now with our program, we can do even more good and share it together! Thank you kindly for considering our program for your charitable giving!
