Established in 1977, the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank (JCSDFB) provides food to people in need, advocates for the hungry and educates the public about hunger-related issues. The Food Bank feeds nearly 320,000 people every month in communities throughout San Diego County. In the fiscal year 2013-2014, the Food Bank distributed nearly 20 million pounds of food to individuals and families in need.

Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services (SFBFS) is a local, privately funded, non-profit organization serving families in need since 1976. A staff of 45 and several thousand volunteers accomplish SFBFS’ mission of assisting those in need by alleviating their immediate pain and problems and by moving them toward self-sufficiency and financial independence.

With a mission to end hunger, the SF-Marin Food Bank (SFMFB) play a central role in the food assistance network for their communities, where one in four residents struggles to make ends meet. Families, seniors and individuals are supported by the food they deliver to 450 partnering organizations, including 240 weekly grocery pantries. Each week, their programs serve more than 147,000 people. Other vital resources provided include nutrition education classes and pre-screening for food stamp benefits.

Founded in 1970, the Yolo Food Bank (YFB) has grown from a backyard gleaning program that provided a few thousand pounds of food a year, to the largest hunger relief organization in the county and the only one with the resources to receive, sort, store and distribute more than three million pounds of food annually. This is achieved by a staff of 18 full-time and part-time employees and more than 400 active volunteers.

Since 1896 Volunteers of America Greater Los Angeles (VOA) has provided a diverse range of human services throughout the community. They serve greater Los Angeles in the areas of children’s services, youth programs, housing, senior and veterans services, homelessness, and recovery from substance abuse. The organization takes donations of fresh produce for their programs.

Westside Food Bank's (WFB) mission is to distribute food to local agencies with food assistance programs and to reduce food waste on the Westside of Los Angeles County. As the food bank warehouse for the Westside since 1981, they annually distribute more than 4.4 million pounds of food to over 70 local social service agencies.
